Admission

2024-25

Techno India Group Public School, Garia is one of the best CBSE schools in South 24 Parganas, therefore it comes with a simple registration and admission process. The prospectus cum registration forms are usually issued in September – October on payment of the registration fee from the office. The school is an inclusive one where children with special needs are also eligible for admission. Admission is granted according to the management rules and criteria suggested by the Board and Government norms.

Balvatika 1 to Class II (Foundational stage)

Announcements for admission are usually done through the school website and social media handles. Parents should come along at the time mentioned on the Receipt-cum Admit card for counseling along with the ward.

Classes III to V(Preparatory stage)

A written test is conducted on English, 2nd Language, EVS, and Maths.

Classes VI to VIII (Middle School )

A written test on English, 2nd Language, Mathematics, and General Studies (Science and Social Science) is conducted. 

For Class IX admission

An admission test is conducted on the following subjects: English, 2nd Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The admission test syllabus is provided to the parents by the school office.

Class XI

Class XI admissions will depend on the performance in admission tests and board examinations till the availability of seats and as per CBSE guidelines in terms of registration.

Rules & Regulations

Students must carry the school diary to school on every working day. Parents are requested to check the school diary regularly for important notifications from the school and teachers. The school diary must be preserved properly at all times because it is an important mode of communication between parents and the school. In case of loss of school diary, a new one will be provided to the students against a fine of rupees 200 which has to be paid at the school office. School Uniform Students must follow the dress code of the school strictly on all working days, special or remedial classes days and on occasions they represent the school in external competitions and functions. They must come to school in neat, proper and complete uniform. Non-compliance may lead to the student being sent back home after parents are duly informed.   • MEDIA COVERAGE ON STREET PLAY (ROAD SAFETY WEEK)

    We were privileged to become a part of Road Safety Week of Kolkata Traffic Police (Garia Traffic Guard)as on 10th February we were invited to perform a street play that was conducted at Patuli crossing, Kolkata . Twenty-two enthusiastic students of our school accompanied by five teachers went to Patuli crossing where they performed a street play on road safety measures. They tried to create mass awareness among people to emphasize the importance of road safety. The play projected the scenario of a road mishap due to negligence in following traffic rules. At the same time, it also conveyed the message that if proper traffic rules are abided by people, devastating accidents can be avoided. Enacting this play was a unique experience for our students. It was a worthy effort and an effective measure to spread road safety awareness.

  • MEDIA COVERAGE ON FAREWELL PROGRAMME:

    Our school celebrated ‘Au Revoir’ (Goodbye until we meet again) in honour of Class XII students. The programme consisted of songs, dance performances, games for the students. Students were given ‘Best of Luck’ cards and everyone enjoyed the session. A special cake was also arranged for them. Overall the programme was interesting with an amalgamation of different activities.
